How To Complete Your MUT Registration

As the academic year kicks off, registration for MUT will open for new students and returning students. This is how the online registration process will work.

New year, new admin needing to be taken care of. One of these tasks are to register for the new academic year at your University. If you're a student at Mangosuthu University of Technology (MUT), here's how to submit your MUT registration.

No walk-ins will be allowed, so students will need to register online via the student portal.

Follow these steps to successfully register as a MUT student:

1. Visit the university website - www.mut.ac.za

2. Click on the Student portal and then click on 'Student iEnabler'

3. Click on the 'Student' option

4. Enter your student number and current pin or default pin (46579) if you have not yet changed it. 

5. Click on the 'Login' option.

6. Click the registration option on the left-hand side of the screen.

7. Accept the rules and regulations and submit your registration.

8. Choose 'unemployed' as your employment status and save and continue.

9. The list of subjects you are able to register for will appear on the screen. Check the box next to each subject before continuing.

10. Click on the 'Accept Registration' button.

11. After you have completed your registration you will need to click on 'Proof of Registration', you can then print your registration status.

You will need to complete all of these steps before you are a fully registered student.
