Once your Unisa application is submitted, they will then evaluate your application by looking at whether you meet the academic admission requirements for your qualification of choice, your minimum academic points score (APS) and the number of spaces available for the qualification you applied for.

Spaces for some qualifications are limited and offers will only be made once all the applications received have been processed.

After evaluating your Unisa application, you might then receive an offer from Unisa that you will need to accept or reject. Here's a guide on how to handle your Unisa offer acceptance.

Check Your Unisa Admission Status

  • Unisa Student Portal: Log in to your Unisa Student Portal using your student number and password.
  • Admission Status: Look for the "Admission Status" section or a similar tab.
  • Offer Letter: If you've been admitted, you should see an offer letter available for download.

How To Accept Unisa Offer For Admission

  1. First-time applicants to Unisa must complete the First-Year Experience MOOC
  2. After completing the MOOC, you will then need to accept your offer by going to the Unisa offer page
  3. Scroll down the page and click on the bubble next to 'Offer'
  4. Enter your student number
  5. Follow the instructions.
  6. Complete your Unisa acceptance offer.
  7. Once you accept the offer, you will wait for registration to open and complete your Unisa registration to officially enrol as a student

Applicants will only have 10 working days to accept their offers. It's important to accept your offer before the deadline to avoid losing your place.

After you have accepted the offer and fulfilled all necessary requirements, Unisa will confirm your acceptance through the student portal or via email. This confirmation will serve as proof of your enrollment, and you can start preparing for your studies at Unisa with confidence.
