At Northlink College, we see an institution that creates opportunities for young people to give back to the communities they came from by providing education and skills that can be used in the real world. By putting plans in place, they want to ensure that they help students achieve their goals and excel while doing so. Making sure they lay a foundation for the future is one of Northlink's main aims and aim to do so through hard work and dedication from staff and students, throughout the institution.

Leon Beech, Northlink CEO and Principal has said, "We are sure that attending a TVET College gives you the chance to compete in a scarce job market and this is why we are so proud to offer education and training to the communities we serve".

Northlink College is the biggest in Western Cape and has produced excellent academic achievements. In 2018, they achieved a pass rate of 93.3% and this persisted and continued in 2019 where they obtained a 92% pass rate. In 2018, Northlink College was also named the best performing college in South Africa.

The institution has also been awarded the Best Academically Achieving College Award in the National Certificate Vocational Programme, which is a product in the TVET sector specifically for grade 9 students. They have the broadest selection in different categories at a level that takes you through a three year full-time programme and the end achievement at level 4 is equivalent to a matric certificate. If you achieve results of a high enough standard, you can have access to university as well.

Many Northlink students receive financial support from the government and the remaining 20% is paid by NSFAS which would mean that students are getting a free education.

Northlink College has the advantage of being an institution that possesses dynamic and out of the box thinking which leads them to academic excellence.
