The Mpumalanga College of Nursing is open now for applications to study the three year Diploma in Nursing for 2026. If you are interested in a career in nursing this could be for you.

The Mpumalanga College of Nursing has opened applications for their 2026 intake. Falling under the Mpumalanga Department of Health, the college offers a three year Diploma in Nursing, which is open for those ages 18 to 36.

Applicants must have passed Matric with English and Biology at least level 4. They should also have Maths at level 3 or Maths Literacy at least level 5. There can be any one of Physical Science or Agriculture or Geography passed with at least level 3. The APS score should be not less than 23 (excluding Life Orientation). 

Successful applicants will be required to sign an agreement/contract with the Mpumalanga Department of Health - and to attend lectures for theoretical knowledge. It will also be required to complete a Work in Learning component. Applicants should be residents of Mpumalanga. 

The great thing about the College is that there are no fees to be paid to be admitted. The College has warned applicants not to be fooled by anyone who promises admission for payment as this is a criminal offence.
