The Western Cape has over 6 public colleges and 50 private colleges.

All these colleges are registered with the Department of Higher Education and Training and offer accredited training.

There are 50 TVET colleges across South Africa, of which 6 are located in the Western Cape. This means that almost every major region in the Western Cape has a TVET College campus.
