If you are interested in attending the University of Mpumalanga but you're not sure what the entry requirements are, then keep reading to find out.

The University of Mpumalanga was established on 22 August 2013, with the University officially launching on 31 October 2013 and offering 48 accredited academic programmes.

They have the following faculties: faculty of agriculture and natural sciences, faculty of education and the faculty of Economics, Development and business sciences.

To apply at that the University of Mpumalanga students can either apply online or manually. Students who want to apply online can do so by visiting this link.

For manual applications, students will need to send prescribed forms to the university campus.

To qualify for any of the 48 accredited academic programmes, students will need to meet the admission requirements published by the University of Mpumalanga.

Here are the entry requirements for students :

  • National Senior Certificate 
  • Appropriate combination of recognised National Senior Certificate (NSC) subjects, as well as certain levels of achievement in these subjects for the specific course you intend to participate in.
  • Mathematics is compulsory for all numerate programmes
  • The relevant APS score for Degrees (21) and Diploma's (17)
