This full-time programme is designed to equip youth with the essential skills needed to thrive in the fast-growing tech industry - and runs from 6 to 12 months.
Whether you're interested in cybersecurity, software development, or cloud computing, this learnership will provide you with both the knowledge and hands-on experience required to enter the digital economy with confidence.
IT Streams Available in the 2025 CAPACITI Learnership
Applicants will have the opportunity to specialise in one of the following in-demand IT streams:
- IT Support
- Artificial Intelligence (AI) / Machine Learning
- Data Fundamentals & Analytics
- Cloud Computing
- Software Development
- Web Development
- Full Stack Development
- Cybersecurity

Minimum Requirements to Apply
To be eligible for the CAPACITI IT Learnership 2025, applicants must:
- Be a South African citizen, aged 18–34
- Have completed NQF Level 4 or an equivalent qualification
- Be unemployed at the time of application
- Have basic IT knowledge (hardware, software, networking)
- Possess strong communication skills and the ability to work independently and in teams
- Be available Monday to Friday, 08:00–17:00, for the full duration of the programme (6–12 months)
- Have no criminal record or adverse credit history
- Preference will be given to Employment Equity (EE) candidates and Persons with Disabilities (PWD)
