Bidvest International Logistics Learnership 2026–2027 for Unemployed Youth

Bidvest International Logistics (BIL) is offering an exciting learnership opportunity that is based in the freight and logistics industry. This 12-month programme combines theoretical learning with practical workplace experience, leading to a recognised qualification.

About the Learnership Programme

The Bidvest International Logistics Learnership is a 12-month, full-time programme registered with the Quality Council for Trades and Occupations (QCTO). Learners will gain hands-on experience across different areas of the business while completing structured online training.

Opportunities are available across multiple provinces, including the Eastern Cape, Gauteng, KwaZulu-Natal, and the Western Cape.

Minimum Requirements

To be considered for the learnership, applicants must meet the following criteria:

- Be a South African citizen
- Be between 18 and 35 years old
- Have a Grade 12 (Matric) certificate or equivalent
- Be unemployed and available for the full 12-month programme
- Have a strong interest in the transport and logistics industry
- Be an African female living with a disability

Key Responsibilities

Successful candidates will be expected to:

- Commit to the full 12-month learnership programme
- Complete both theoretical and practical components of training
- Participate in workplace activities across different divisions
- Submit a portfolio of evidence upon completion of the qualification

Skills and Competencies

Applicants should demonstrate the following qualities:

- Self-motivation and independence
- Commitment and determination
- Accountability and responsibility
- Professional behaviour and communication skills
- Basic computer literacy
