This 12-month learnership programme offers candidates the opportunity to gain valuable workplace experience in the banking sector while completing structured training.

About The Absa Home Loans Learnership
The learnership programme provides practical workplace exposure within Absa’s Home Loans Sales and Service Enablement divisions.
Successful learners will receive on-the-job training while gaining experience working with customers in a professional banking environment.
Absa said the programme is aimed at talented and enthusiastic individuals who are eager to learn and grow within one of Africa’s leading banking groups.
During the programme, learners will be expected to demonstrate:

Absa Learnership Requirements
Applicants who want to apply for the Absa Home Loans Learnership must meet the following minimum requirements:
- Be between 18 and 30 years old
- Be a South African citizen or permanent resident
- Have a completed Degree or equivalent NQF Level 7 qualification
- Be proficient in English
- Be currently unemployed
- Not be registered for another learnership, internship or qualification programme
- Be computer literate
- Be self-motivated and willing to learn
- Be able to commit to the full 12-month programme

- A detailed CV
- Certified copies of qualifications
- A copy of their ID
- Proof of address
Absa Learnership Stipend And Duration
The Absa Home Loans Learnership will run for a period of 12 months.
Successful candidates will receive a monthly stipend during the programme.
Learners must complete all academic modules and workplace training to successfully graduate from the programme.
Recruitment And Screening Process
As part of the recruitment process, shortlisted applicants will be required to complete online occupational assessments.
Candidates must also meet the following screening requirements:
- No criminal record
- Clear credit record
- No false documentation
- Positive reference checks with previous employers
- No history of employee dismissal
