Applications to study at Umfolozi TVET College are now open. The College offers a range of national business and engineering programmes which include the National Certificate (Vocational) and Nated programmes. 

Umfolozi TVET College is one of 9 TVET Colleges in the province of KwaZulu-Natal. Situated on north coast of KwaZulu-Natal, the College boasts fully fledged campuses offering Certificate and Diploma Courses in the fields of Business and Engineering Studies.

Applications for 2025 are now open will close on 15 October.

How To Apply

  1. You must first complete the career guidance and placement test on Learner Profiler. This can be found by going to the College website, clicking on 'Programmes' and then 'Online application' on the menu
  2. Once you're done, on that same 'Online Application' page, click on the link under 'STEP TWO'
  3. Click on 'Register an account'
  4. Accept the terms and conditions
  5. Enter the required information and follow the prompts to create an account
  6. Select your subjects and click 'Save'
  7. Click every button (Profile, Language, Disability, Address, Next of Kin, Contact) and fill in the required information
  8. Click 'Save'
  9. Click 'Current Applications'
  10. Click on 'Create new application'
  11. Choose your year you wish to study
  12. Choose a duration
  13. Choose how you would like to study
  14. Click on 'Apply for this course'
  15. Click 'OK'
  16. Click 'Submit application'
  17. Click 'confirm'
  18. Click 'continue to documents'
  19. Upload supporting documents and click on 'continue'
  20. Make sure everything has a green tick
  21. You will then receive communication from the college

Along with the application, applicants must submit certified copies of their ID, matric results, proof of residence and next of kin.
