False Bay College offers a wide range of programmes across their five campuses situated around Cape Town. Additionally, they offer part-time and online courses to accommodate your needs and learning style. 

Applications are currently open for a number of their part-time and distance learning National Certificate and Occupational Certificate programmes.

There are courses available across several disciplines including Business Studies, Engineering, Hospitality and ICT, and more.

The part-time programmes available may differ depending on the campus, so be sure to check that the campus you wish to study at offers your desired course.

False Bay College offers a number of the new Occupational Certificate Programmes which are designed to prepare students for the real world by combining theory, practical training, and a valuable workplace experience.

(Entry requirements: Grade 12/NQF Level 4)

Khayelitsha Campus
Electrician - NQF Level 4
Rigging - NQF Level 4
Automotive Motor Mechanics -- NQF Level 4
(Entry requirement: Grade 10 or 11)

Muizenberg Campus
Chef - NQF Level 5
(Entry Requirement: Grade 10/NQF Level 2 with Mathematics or Maths Lit.)

Westlake Campus
Vehicle Painter - NQF Level 4
Boilermaker - NQF Level 4
Panel beating - NQF Level 4
Fitter and Turner - NQF Level 4
Welder - NQF Level 4
(Entry requirement: Grade 10 or 11)

 

 

How To Apply For Semester 2

  1. You can apply for their programmes online on the False Bay College website.
  2. Click on ‘Click Here To Apply Now!’
  3. Complete the online application form by following the prompts on the screen.
  4. Once you are done, you can submit your application and wait to hear back!

Remember to make sure you meet the minimum entry requirements and that you have all the necessary documents handy prior to submitting your application. 

Applications close on 10 June 2026, so don't hesitate to apply!
