The University of Witwaterstrand (Wits University) is located in Johannesburg. They offer a range of degrees, diplomas and short courses as well as online and part time courses. Wits University is said to have produced more millionaires than any other university in South Africa. They have approximately 37 000 students and 6 000 members of staff. Their website claims that more than 85% of research conducted by Wits University is published in accredited international journals.
The University of Witwaterstrand has a wide range of Undergraduate and Postgraduate degrees in the Health Sciences, Commerce, Law and Management, Engineering and Built Environment, Humanities and Science Faculties.
There are 5 Wits University campuses in total. East and West Campus are located in Braamfontein. There are three other campuses located in Parktown, the Education Campus and the Medical and Management Schools.
