Register To Receive 2020 Matric Results From SABC Education

SABC Education has launched 2020 matric results services for matrics to receive their final results. 

South African Broadcasting Corporation (SABC) Education in partnership with the Department of Basic Education (DBE) in “Enriching Minds, Enriching Lives” will be launching its Matric Results service, which will run from 31 December until 29 February 2021. 

So if you're in matric and you're registered to the service, you can receive your final results via an SMS or by using the USSD line on 22 February 2021. 

Learners must register with their exam number on the platform of their choice to access their results.

The following are the steps to how learners can register to receive their 2020 Matric Results: 

By SMS

  • SMS your exam number to 45856
  • The system verifies the exam number; your exam number must be correct in order to be accepted.
  • Learners will be charged R1-50 per SMS, free SMS’s do not apply

By USSD 

  • Dial *120*45856# enter exam number to register
  • You will be charged R1-50 per minute
  • Results will be sent to your phone once they are available

 By MATRICSMATE APP

  • Download the app for free from Google Play and Apple App Stores

If you have any queries relating to the registration and the use of the SABC Education Matric Results service then you can contact their call centre on 011 507 4630, available Monday to Friday from 8am to 5pm. On the day of the release the call centre will be operating from midnight to 5pm. 

Matric Results will be released on 22 February 2021 so learners are encouraged to register as soon as possible.
