Student Portal Results

TVET Colleges have announced that the Department of Higher Education has released the exam results for semester 1. Students can now access their TVET College results for Business Studies Semester 1.

Students should receive communication from their college when their results are available and how to access them. Usually, students can view their TVET College results online via their student portal.

TVET Colleges Open Semester 2 Registration

TVET Colleges have commenced with Semester 2 registrations. Students will see Semester 2 registrations open from this week until mid-July, with some colleges yet to announce Semester 2 registration dates.

The registration process for TVET colleges in South Africa can vary slightly depending on the specific college you're applying to. Students will be able to register on their College's online portal or at their College campus.

TVET College 2024 Calendar

Term 3 commenced on 9 July for TVET College students and concludes on 20 September. The academic year concludes in Term 4, starting on 1 October and ending on 1 November. 

In South Africa, there are fifty TVET colleges with over 250 campuses. These institutions provide comprehensive training across various disciplines, including engineering, media, hospitality, business, utilities, and tourism.

TVET College Courses

National Certificate (Vocational) programmes 

NC(V) Courses, serving as an alternative to a Matric Certificate, focus on cultivating students in specialised areas, providing them with the skills and knowledge essential for a prosperous career.

NATED Programmes/Report 191 Programmes

NATED Programmes typically entail months of theoretical studies at a TVET college, complemented by practical applications in relevant workplaces.
