When The Next Allowance Payments Will Be Made
NSFAS has also confirmed that additional allowance payments will be made to tertiary institutions that have submitted registration data after the 23rd cut off date.
Progress Of 2023 NSFAS Applications
All NSFAS student funding applications for the 2023 academic year have all been processed. The scheme has dispatched officials from its partnering service providers to speed up the process of onboarding students, providing bank cards and addressing all related queries.
NSFAS Responds To Inaccurate Payment Accusations
The scheme also continues to defend its current payment system against accusations that incorrect allowance payments were paid to undeserving students.
It is with regret that the scheme's efforts in ensuring that a fully-functional student-centred model is realised are hijacked by thugs who previously benefited from systems which exposed to students to criminality and fraudulent activities.
NSFAS further stated that, if necessary, legal action will be taken against who made the accusations. They will continue paying allowances using the new direct payment system.
