Mabona, said:

When will placement offers be made?
Parents and guardians who applied will start receiving placement offers Monday, 4 September 2023, through SMS. Placement offers will be issued until all applicant learners are placed.
We will be placing up until everyone is at a school.
When an offer is made, you have 7 days to accept or decline the offer.
Every year, thousands of school learners are left without a placement as the new school year commences. Looking at the high number of applications received, Mabona has said that outstanding school placements shouldn't be a major issue as it usually is.
If learners were not placed in their school of choice, they will then be placed at neighbouring schools.
