Who Can Apply?
If you are over the age of 21 years old, have a General Education and Training Certificate (GETC), a Grade 9 certificate, or a recognised equivalent at NQF Level 1 with two official languages.
You will also need a reliable internet connection via a computer or cell phone to complete your online classroom activities.
You must register for the Adult Senior Certificate examinations at a Department of Education examination centre before the cut-off date. These exams take place once a year, usually in June or July.
To pass Adult Matric, you will need to pass six of your subjects.
