Answer

SACAP is a private institution and they have the word college in their name. However they have achieved accreditation as a private higher education institution with the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA) and the Council on Higher Education (CHE).

This means that they offers courses that are generally on the same level as university courses. SACAP offers a variety of qualifications at different levels, including certificates, diplomas, bachelor's degrees, and postgraduate degrees. The college has campuses in several major cities in South Africa, including Cape Town, Johannesburg, and Pretoria, and also offers some courses through distance learning.

Private education institutions in South Africa are not allowed to call themselves universities even though they offer degrees which are at the same educational level as those offered by public universities.
