Self-awareness may be inaccurate
We are poor judges of our own capabilities. This has been explained by the difference between one’s implicit and explicit self-view. One’s implicit self-view is that portion of one’s self-concept that is embedded in one’s unconscious. A view of myself without thinking about it. One’s explicit self-view is that portion of one’s self-concept of which one is conscious. A view of myself which
