ADvTECH Matric Class Of 2022 Hits It Out The Park With IEB Results

ADvTECH is pleased to announce that its Matric Class of 2022 has achieved exceptional results in last year's IEB examinations, resulting in the group retaining a leadership position in private education in South Africa.

ADvTECH students achieved 2 503 distinctions, with a distinction average of 1,9 per student.

"These results reflect ADvTECH's commitment to academic excellence, and the tireless work and dedication of its teachers and students. We congratulate all our students on their exceptional performance and applaud their achievements," says Desiree Hugo, Academic Head: Schools Division at ADvTECH.  

1 299 students participated in the Independent Examinations Board (IEB) examinations in 2022.

The students achieved a 99,62% pass rate across all schools, and all ADvTECH schools averaged a 93% Bachelor Degree pass.

Academic excellence remains at the core of ADvTECH's ethos with an aim to provide a nurturing environment based on a foundation of academic excellence and innovation, while developing the whole child.

As leaders in teaching and learning, ADvTECH has deliberately invested in teacher development programmes to ensure that top results are maintained annually.

"We are extremely proud of the ADvTECH Schools matric results as we know that it was through the dedication and hard work of our students that we recorded such a pleasing performance. Furthermore, the passion shown by our educators who implement our Group strategy of commitment to academic excellence is to be commended. The excellent results from our Class of 2022 show that we are actively contributing to sending out young minds who will be able to contribute to our economy and society in a meaningful way, to take up their position as future leaders," says Hugo.
