A Bachelor of Commerce, often abbreviated as a BCom, is an undergraduate degree in business-related fields. A Bcom consists of a 3-year full-time training programme, often offered at universities and at some private colleges.

The Bachelors of Commerce consists of compulsory courses, which are recognized as the foundational concepts of business. These subjects included are economics, business management, accounting principles, financial management and information systems amongst others.

When a student enters a BCom programme, they will eventually have to choose a stream or a major.  A major represents an area of specialisation such as financial management, accounting, advertising, banking, business economics and many more.
