The course covers the following:
- Report 191 subjects - N3 Engineering Drawing, N3 Industrial electronics, N4 Electrotechnics, N4 Engineering Science, N4 Mathematics, N4 Mechatechnics and N5 Power Machines.
- Maritime Engineering Modules (Semester based) - Marine Engineering Knowledge 1 and 2, Marine Law 1 and 2, Naval Architecture 1 and 2, Marine Engineering Workshop Training
- Sea time
- SAMSA STCW & IMO Codes (short courses)

Matric with 60% and above in Maths and Science
