uMfolozi TVET College invites individuals with an interest in Maritime Studies to apply for a National Diploma in Maritime Engineering. Applications close on 30 November so don’t miss out on this great opportunity.

This qualification is for a duration of 4 years.

The course covers the following:

  • Report 191 subjects - N3 Engineering Drawing, N3 Industrial electronics, N4 Electrotechnics, N4 Engineering Science, N4 Mathematics, N4 Mechatechnics and N5 Power Machines.
  • Maritime Engineering Modules (Semester based) - Marine Engineering Knowledge 1 and 2, Marine Law 1 and 2, Naval Architecture 1 and 2, Marine Engineering Workshop Training 
  • Sea time
  • SAMSA STCW & IMO Codes (short courses)

Requirements

Matric with 60% and above in Maths and Science

How To Apply

Hand deliver your CV, certified copies of your original certificate as well as your SA ID document to the Maritime Academy at uMfolozi TVET College's Esikhawini Campus.

All applicants will be subjected to a selection test along with a Maritime medical test.
