This program is designed to provide learners with the necessary skills and knowledge required to succeed in the agricultural industry.

Free State Oil (Pty) Ltd (FSO) is a soybean processing facility in Villiers in the Free State, which started production in September 2012. Since then, FSO has been focussed on producing good quality soybean meal and oil. 

FSO is now accepting applications for Plant Production learnerships.

Job Description

  • Full training and mentorship from industry professionals.
  • An NQF Level 1 qualification in Plant Production upon successful completion.
  • A hands-on, practical learning experience in the agricultural sector.
  • An opportunity to kickstart your career in the plant production industry.

Job Requirements

  • Unemployed individuals only
  • Qualification equal or not lower than Grade 9.
  • A passion for agriculture and plant production.
  • Ability to work in outdoor environments and physical conditions.
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work under supervision.
  • A positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
