Sanlam Corporate is inviting applications for its YEP Learnership Programme — an exciting opportunity for young South Africans to gain valuable work experience while earning a nationally recognised qualification in wealth management.

This 12-month learnership programme aims to develop future talent by offering practical training in a corporate environment. Learners will benefit from hands-on workplace experience, structured classroom-based education, and continuous coaching and mentoring.

Upon successful completion, high-performing learners may be considered for permanent junior-level positions within Sanlam, creating a direct path to long-term employment through the company’s Youth Empowerment Programme (YEP).

What the Learnership Offers:
- A 12-month fixed-term contract
- Monthly stipend and study assistance
- National Certificate in Wealth Management (NQF Level 4)
- On-the-job training and performance assessments
- Continuous mentorship and development support
- A completed Portfolio of Evidence required by INSETA

Key Responsibilities:
Participants will learn about Sanlam’s products, services, and operations, attend classroom sessions, complete practical training, compile learning portfolios, and complete assessments. They will also be required to keep detailed learning logbooks and carry out duties as assigned by their manager.

Minimum Requirements:
- South African citizen between 18 and 35 years old
- Unemployed and not currently studying toward a tertiary qualification
- Matric with at least 50% in English, Maths, Maths Literacy or Accounting
- Proficient in English (written and spoken)
- Willingness to commit to the 12-month learnership
- Clear criminal and credit record
- Access to reliable transport
