Bridgestone Production Learnership Programme Applications Open

Bridgestone has opened applications for its Production Learnership Programme, offering an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in tyre manufacturing.

This learnership is a local role based in Brits and provides structured workplace training within a manufacturing environment. Successful candidates will report directly to the Production Foreman and will be trained to assemble tyres in line with strict safety regulations, quality standards and targeted production cycle times.

About the Production Learnership

As a Production Learner at Bridgestone, participants will be exposed to practical production processes while learning to work safely, efficiently and collaboratively. The programme focuses on developing technical skills, teamwork and workplace discipline within a high-performance manufacturing setting.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct risk assessments on equipment before use
Wear all provided personal protective equipment (PPE)
Maintain 3S standards in the work area
Ensure all machine controls are in proper working order
Remove empty spools, trolleys and rolls from machines
Return empty items to the component section
Move viewed raw covers into designated storage bays
Supply solutions to machines as required
Work effectively as part of a production team
Meet production targets as outlined in the learnership programme

Minimum Qualifications and Requirements

Minimum Grade 12 or N3 Certificate
Mathematics (Pure Maths) and/or Physical Science
