South West Gauteng TVET College (SWGC) is a leading educational institution offering vocational education training programmes in Johannesburg, South Africa. They cater to students seeking qualifications at the National Qualifications Framework (NQF) Levels 2 to 4 and N4 to N6 levels.

SWGC understands that students come from homes with different responsibilities and provides them with the flexibility to choose between traditional classroom learning, distance learning, and e-learning options. This allows students to pursue their education at their own pace and convenience.

The college specialises in three main vocational training areas, Business Studies, Engineering Studies and Utility Studies

These programs are perfect for students looking for a career-oriented education that equips them with practical skills for the workforce.

While a Grade 11 or 12 qualification is preferred, SWGC offers these programmes to students who have completed Grade 9. This opens doors for those who may not have completed school to start their vocational journey.

What the Fees at South West Gauteng TVET College Are

Fees at South West Gauteng TVET College may differ depending on the course a learner is enrolled in and whether they are a full-time or part-time student. 

  • Occupational Qualifications: R10,396 - R15,826 per year
  • Special Courses: R550 - R615 per day
  • General Studies: R680 - R3,316 per course depending on type and length
  • NCV Fees: R9,699 - R21,625 per year depending on the programme
  • Natural Science: R 2,232.per course

Students who meet the requirements can apply for NSFAS bursaries.

There are five South West Gauteng campuses located around the province.
