Westcol TVET College has now opened their applications for courses starting in January 2026. They offer various courses which would benefit both the students and their community.

Applications to study at Westcol TVET College for 2026 are now open so if you're interested, you should apply as soon as possible! Western TVET College's mission is to provide quality education and training which would benefit both the students and their community. 

Applications will close on 30th September 2026.

If you are currently in Grade 9 or 12, or already have a Grade 9 or 12 certificate you many apply.

Please note that NATED Business and Related studies are phased out. NATED is only available for Engineering Studies at N4.

  • Public Management
  • Tourism

How To Apply

  1. Go to the Westcol website
  2. Click on 'NEW STUDENT APPLICATION'
  3. You will need to complete the Academic Placement Test and Application Form
  4. You will be required to upload a number of documents
  5. Follow the process

You can also visit the campus if you need any assistance. 

No fees are payable when you apply. You can apply for the NSFAS bursary when their application process is opened later this year. 

Applicants can track their Westcol application status on the student portal.

Will NSFAS Pay For Westcol Courses?

The National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) has helped so many South African students aspiring to pursue higher education through providing bursaries and loans.

NSFAS was initially designed to provide financial assistance to students pursuing higher education at universities. However, over the years, its scope has expanded to include TVET colleges as well.

This means, yes, NSFAS will pay for courses offered at Western TVET College.
