Westcol has now opened their applications for Trimester 2. If you passed matric and want to study further, you should definitely take advantage of this opportunity.

Applications are now open at Western TVET College (Westcol) to study during Trimester 2. Master your own future and apply now.

If you have a grade 12 certificate with pass marks in Mathematics and Science or you're currently employed as an apprentice, you should definitely apply. This is for Engineering Studies N1-N6.

Applications close on 31 March.

How To Apply

  1. Go to the Westcol website
  2. Click on 'Online application'
  3. Before applying, applicants must first take the learner profiler assessment
  4. Then they will need to complete the Application Scoring Points (APS) system
  5. They will then be directed to the application portal
  6. Fill in your personal details
  7. Upload supporting documents

Applicants will also need to submit certified copies of their Grade 12 certificate/Statement of results/Latest school report/DHET certificate, ID document and Proof of residence.

You can track your own progress on the student portal.

Successful applicants will be notified per SMS/email to come and register.

Westcol TVET College is a public institution governed by the Department Of Higher Education And Training. Due to this, students can apply for bursaries from the National Student Financial Aid Scheme (Nsfas).
