  • Entry Requirements: Grade 9 Certificate or equivalent qualification
  • Duration: Each level requires four subjects and runs for 10 weeks per trimester duration. Enrolments take place every trimester for all engineering programmes.

Engineering Studies N1-N3

  • Courses: Electrical Engineering Studies, Fitting and Turning, Instrumentation
  • Entry Requirements: Grade 9 Certificate or equivalent qualification
  • Duration: Each level requires four subjects and runs for 10 weeks per trimester duration. Enrolments take place every trimester for all engineering programmes.

Hospitality And Catering Service N4-N6

  • Course: Hospitality
  • Entry Requirements: Grade 12 Certificate
  • Duration: 3 Years (18 months theory and 18 months practical work experience)

Tourism Management N4-N6

  • Course: Tourism
  • Entry Requirements: Grade 12 Certificate with at least 50% average
  • Duration: 3 Years (18 months theory and 18 months practical work experience)

National Certificate Vocational (NCV) Level 2-4 Programmes

  • Courses: Electrical Infrastructure Construction, Engineering and Related Design, Information Technology and Computer Science, Hospitality, Office Administration, Safety in Society, Tourism
  • Entry Requirements: Vary by course (ranging from Grade 9 to Grade 11 with specific subject passes)
  • Duration: 3 Years for most courses, with certificates issued for the successful completion of each level of study.

Entry Requirements For South Cape TVET College Courses

To apply for a course at SCC TVET College, prospective students must ensure they meet the specific entry requirements for their chosen program. Generally, applicants will need a Grade 12 certificate for Business Studies and Utility Studies N4-N6 programs.
