Ekurhuleni East College is a TVET College which aims to empower and prepare its students for the labour market and self-employment.

The college is on a mission, “to create a quality learning environment that anticipates, prepares for and meets the Education, Training and Development expectations of our clients.”

Ekurhuleni East TVET College (EEC) is spread across five towns in the Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality (EMM). These are: Springs, Kwa-Thema, Daveyton, Benoni and Brakpan

Ekurhuleni East has six campuses located in Gauteng. These include:

Ekurhuleni East TVET College offers a mix of NCV, Artisan and Short Skills programmes, Report 191, Prevocational Learning Programmes, with the NCV programmes being the major offering. The college offers:

  • 11 NCV (National Curriculum Vocational) programmes spread across the Engineering, Business, ICT, Tourism, Process Plant Operations and Hospitality sectors
  • 6 Report 191 programmes spread across the Engineering, Business, Tourism and Hospitality sectors

  2. Select “New Application” under Prospective Students
  3. Complete Placement Test
  4. Fill in the necessary details
  5. Upload documents

Documents Required

All applications are urged to submit the following certified documents:

  • ID copy/certificate of the applicant
  • Results
  • Proof of address
  • Parent/Guardian ID Copy

The institution has noted that if students need a NSFAS bursary, they must also upload proof of income and their parents or legal guardians' IDs.
