Motheo TVET College has opened their applications for Semester 2, apply now to avoid disappointment. Please be aware that programmes and modes of study will differ depending on the campus and course you select. 

Motheo TVET College is a public Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) institution in Bloemfontein.

They offer a range of programmes in fields such as Business Studies, Engineering Studies, Hospitality and Tourism, Information Technology and Safety in Society. The college aims to provide quality vocational education and training to equip students with skills that are relevant to the needs of the South African economy.

Applicants can apply online before the deadline of 6th June 2025. There are a limited number of spaces available so it's best to get your application in as soon as possible. 

Applications are currently open at the following campuses:

  • Bloemfontein Campus
  • Botshabelo Campus
  • Hillside View Campus
  • Thaba N'chu Campus
  • Koffiefontein Campus
  • Zastron Campus
  • Plot 32

To complete your online application, ensure that you have the following documentation on hand;

  • Your most recent academic results
  • Certified copy of your ID
  • Certified copy of your parent/guardian's ID
  • Proof of residential address
  • Valid study permit (if you are a foreign national student)
  • South African Qualification Authority (SAQA) evaluation certificate - Only required when you have a foreign qualification

How To Apply Online

  1. Visit the Motheo TVET College website
  2. Click on the "Online Application" link at the top of the page
  3. Register an account if you do not have one, or log in if you do have an account
  4. Follow the prompts on the screen, including selecting your programme and campus
  5. Ensure that all your personal details are correct and that you have submitted all the necessary documents to avoid delays in the processing of your application

Motheo TVET College offers a variety of courses at their six campuses. Student support services are available to all students, including academic support. They also provide assistance to their students with bursary applications.

Motheo TVET College is accredited by the Department of Higher Education and Training, and the programmes offered are recognised by employers and other higher education institutions. The college has modern facilities and equipment, experienced and qualified lecturers and a supportive learning environment.
