Vhembe TVET College aims to deliver quality-assured and responsive skills-based programmes for lifelong learning. They offer several National Certificate (Vocational) and NATED programmes to individuals wanting to study at the college. 

Vhembe TVET Colleges has seven campuses. Students can study at the Makwarela Campus, Tshisimani Campus, Mashamba Campus, Mavhoi Campus, Thengwe Campus, Shingwedzi Campus, Musina Campus or the Makhado Satellite Campus. 

How To Apply To Study At Vhembe TVET College 

Step 1: Visit the Vhembe TVET College Application Website

Step 2: Register or log in to your Learner Profile Account 

Step 3: Complete the Pre-Entry Placement Test 

Applicants are required to complete Everything In The “Pre-Entry Information” folder. They must click on each button and complete all the screening batteries. In addition, applicants must answer all the questions even if they do know the answers. Applicants must click “Finish” after each assessment.  

Step 4: Complete your Online Application

Step 5: Upload all the required documents 

NC(V) Courses 

The National Certificate: Vocational or NC (V) is an alternative option and equivalent to a Matric Certificate. These programmes are aimed at developing students in an area of specialisation with skills and knowledge needed for a successful career. 

Business Studies NCV programmes give students important information in Finance, Economics and Accounting (FEA), Generic Management, Marketing Management, Office Administration, Primary Agriculture and Educare. 

Vhembe TVET College’s Engineering programmes include Electrical Infrastructure Construction, Civil Engineering and Construction, Engineering and Related Design as well as IT and Computer Science. 

Utility studies at the Vhembe TVET College include Hospitality Services or Clothing Production. 

NATED Programmes

NATED programmes usually consist of 18 months of theoretical studies at a TVET college and 18 months of relevant practical application in workplaces. 

NATED programmes offered at Vhembe TVET College include Business Studies, Engineering Studies and Utility Studies. 

Business Studies NATED programmes cover themes of Marketing Management, Human Resource Management, Financial Management, Public Management and Farming Management. 

Vhembe TVET College’s Engineering programmes allow students to gain critical knowledge and skills in Electrical Infrastructure Construction, Civil Engineering and Construction, Mechanical Engineering and Chemical Engineering. 

Students interested in Utility studies can choose from Hospitality Services or Clothing Production.
