Applications are now open at Ekurhuleni East TVET College for Semester 2. There is limited time for applications so here are the documents you need for your application.

2026 applications to study at Ekurhuleni East TVET College for Semester 2 are open from the 1st May.  The application period will close on the 30th May 2026.

Applications to study at the college can be made online only. Courses available to study will be Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Electrical Engineering. 

Ekurhuleni East College is a TVET College with a vision to empower and prepare their students for the labour market and self-employment. Their mission is to create a good learning environment which meets the Education, Training and Development expectations of their students.

There are Business Studies courses available now:

  • Human Resources
  • Marketing management
  • Management Assistant
  • Financial Management
  • Tourism
  • Hospitality

Applicants will also need to submit certified copies of their ID copy/certificate of the applicant, Results, Proof of address and Parent/Guardian ID Copy.

All prospective students will undergo a compulsory selection process. The College will administer a selection and placement/assessment test as this would assist in the correct placement of students into relevant programmes. 

This is to ensure that prospective students are placed in an appropriate programme of which they have the necessary capabilities and will also enable the College to identify those learners requiring additional support.

No student will be accepted or admitted into EEC without undergoing the placement test process. The selection and placement test are also used to identify students who may require onward referral or learning and academic support.
