Boston Online High School aims to create new opportunities and an aspirational online learning experience for learners. The school offers two Cambridge streams, the Cambridge International Certificate of Education (ICE) and the Advanced International Certificate of Education (AICE) Diploma.

The ICE is suited for learners turning 14 in the first year of registration and who have achieved a Grade 7 or 8. The AICE Diploma is available to learners turning 16 in the first year of registration and who have passed Grade 9 or 10 or the ICE.

Both Cambridge streams require two years of learning.

The AICE Diploma offers the Cambridge International Advanced Supplementary and Advanced Level qualifications.

The school also provides extra-curricular activities such as an online chess tournament, digital music production and journalism club to facilitate social interaction.

Learners are encouraged to study with an accredited tuition provider to ensure that they are well prepared for their exams.

Expert tutors and mentors are available to offer personal attention and assist where learners are struggling. Learners are allowed to work at their own pace, with diagnostic technology identifying what the learner knows and where they need to improve.

Assessments help monitor the learner’s progress and if academic intervention is needed it is done immediately.

The academic school year begins on 15 February 2022.

Boston Online High School fees are R2 500 per month for all levels. The fee includes textbooks and workbooks.

Applications are done online via their website. Before applying the school encourages parents to get all the necessary paperwork in order.

The AICE diploma provides seamless entry to tertiary education and/or the workplace. Learners will have access to coaching on subject choices with guidance on their career and university pathways.

As a result, candidates who have completed Cambridge AICE will experience a smooth transition to post-school studies, academically, technologically and socially.
