Sustainability and ethics has been extremely important for the growth of the Earth and the fashion industry is one that needs to be very conscience of their consumption.
Stadio School of Fashion has been accommodating for ethically, sustainable and conscience consumption for decades, ensuring that they play the needed role in keeping everything livable.
First years are, from the very beginning, taught about the economic layering of their pattern, to ensure that there is as little wastage as possible.
Stadio's goal is to rear sustainable conscience designers that provides products for sustainable conscience consumers.
Their Head of Department in Design, James, is talking to the industry on how to recycle and use waste from their students lookbooks, to repurpose and rework them into different textiles that can continuously be reused
They even changed their usual student fashion show into a lookbook to accommodate for the Covid-19 regulations, while also making sure their students are seen to as needed.
Students have image galleries and final year students are given a chance to work with professional photographers to showcase their work, creating as engagement space for their students.
To take a look at the students lookbooks and vote for your favourites, visit their website here.
They are also doing a industry engagement event on the 8th of April, where you'll be able to see if your favourite designs won.
Rather than just talking Stadio wishes to lead by example, working to create a ethical and sustainable future in fashion.
