Exercise Teachers Academy(ETA) is a registered private higher education institution and trading as ETA College. ETA College was established in 1983 and has 9 other campuses around South Africa along with an online learning facility.

ETA is an accredited institution and registered with higher education and training. The institution specialises in fitness, coaching science and sport management and qualifications that will lead to employment in the sport and fitness industries.

Students can choose whether they want to study full-time or part-time that is dependent on their needs and goals. All courses offered by ETA are aligned with the highest international standard where students can pursue a career abroad. All courses are fully accredited and applicable in all facets of the sporting industry. Students are also offered flexibility where they can study online through ETA College. One of the biggest benefits for students is that ETA provides both theoretical and practical learning skills. Applicants applying for distance learning:

For all students that wish to apply for any ETA distance learning offerings from the above mentioned, all your certified documents must be sent via email to Yolisa: [email protected]  All applicants must specify in their email what course they wish to apply for, year of matriculating and high school attended. Once you have emailed your documents, an academic consultant will process your application and you will receive acceptance within 48-72 hours.

What documentation is required when registering for ETA?

To apply online you can click on www.etacollege.com where you will be able to register for your desired course. 

All applicants need to note that all documents must be certified  and must not be older than 3 months. To apply, you will need the following:

  • Certified copy of your ID
  • Certified copy of the account holders ID
  • Certified copy of matric results
  • Any relevant disability or medical documents.
  • Proof of address.
