A leading household textile manufacturer is offering an exciting Sewing Learnership (CTFL National Certificate – NQF Level 2) for 2026. This opportunity is designed to open doors for youth and persons with disabilities who want to build a career in the Clothing, Textile, Footwear and Leather (CTFL) sector.
Stipend: R3 500 per month
About the Programme
This accredited learnership combines theory, practical workplace training and personal development to help you build strong foundational skills in textile manufacturing and sewing.
What You Will Learn
Learners will gain hands-on experience in:
- Monitoring production processes and applying quality standards
- Working with CTFL materials, machinery and manufacturing systems
- Performing sewing and general production tasks
- Pressing and finishing garments
- Workplace health, safety and environmental practices
- Communication and workplace maths
- Understanding basic labour legislation and productivity standards
