The SA Police Service (SAPS) is inviting applications for the following SAPS vacancies:

  • Security Guard
    • Remuneration: R155 148 per annum
  • Messenger
    • Remuneration: R131 265 per annum
  • Cleaner
    • Remuneration: R131 265 per annum
  • Administration Clerk
    • Remuneration: R216 417 per annum

These SAPS vacancies are located at the SAPS Head Office.

How To Apply

To apply for SAPS vacancies, SAPS job application forms, obtainable from the SAPS careers website, must be submitted. Along with the application form, the CV must also be submitted.

The CV must contain full particulars of:

  • all boards on which an applicant serves;
  • remunerative work outside the public service;
  • current employment and other business interests; and career promotions, appointments, career developments, career history, current studies and qualifications.
  • ID document; 

An applicant must also attach to every application copies of the following:

  • valid motor vehicle driver’s license;
  • All educational qualifications obtained, Senior Certificate, Degree / Diploma certificates of all post school educational qualifications obtained (academic records and / or statement of results only do not suffice);
  • and Service certificates of previous employers stating the post occupied, must also be submitted
