About The Trainee Process Technician Programme

Key Responsibilities
As a Trainee Process Technician, your duties will include:
- Setting up, operating, monitoring and controlling processing equipment
- Ensuring raw materials are efficiently converted into finished products that meet quality standards
- Identifying production inefficiencies and recommending improvements to increase yield and productivity
- Assisting with fault-finding and problem-solving activities to minimise downtime
- Supporting production line efficiency and equipment performance
- Maintaining housekeeping and food safety standards to ensure compliance with industry requirements
- Reporting equipment breakdowns, maintenance needs and worn parts
- Following safe operating procedures to maintain a safe working environment
- Supporting environmental management initiatives and ISO 14001 compliance
Minimum Requirements
To be considered for the PepsiCo Trainee Process Technician programme, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Grade 12 (Matric) or an equivalent qualification
- A relevant tertiary qualification
- Good literacy and numeracy skills
- Confidence in using panel-view computer systems and production technology
