The KZN Department of Health is offering Emergency Medical Care training for unemployed youth interested in pursuing a tertiary qualification in the field of Emergency Medical Care.

Applications are open now for the Emergency Medical Care training for unemployed youth, which is operating in KZN. The successful candidates will be offered the opportunity to study a 1 year Higher Certificate in Emergency Medical Care (HCert in EMC) at the KwaZulu Natal College of Emergency Care.
The one year programme is at level 5 on the NQF with a minimum of 120 credits. It is run by the KZN Department of Health.
To register for the qualification the applicants should have Matric or an NCV qualification. Candidates will have to pass a medical fitness exam and pass a physical fitness assessment.
