Minimum Requirements
To be considered for the Jurumani Cybersecurity Learnership, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Be a South African citizen
- Be between 18 and 34 years old
- Be currently unemployed and not participating in any other learnership
- Not be engaged in full-time studies
- Have a clear criminal record
- Be able to attend training sessions in Midrand (Johannesburg) during weekdays
- Be willing to commit to a 12-month programme
Educational Requirements
Applicants must have one of the following qualifications:
- Grade 12 (Matric) with English and Mathematics
- National Diploma in IT (NQF Level 5)
- Further Education and Training Certificate in IT: Technical Support (NQF Level 4)
- Any non-SETA cybersecurity certification
- Basic understanding of IT concepts such as hardware, networking, and operating systems
Advantageous Experience
The following will be an added advantage, but are not mandatory:
- Prior IT experience
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+ or N+
