Unemployed young South Africans who want to start a career in the insurance industry can apply for the Hollard Insurance Learnership Programme 2026.

Hollard is offering a 12-month learnership programme aimed at helping unemployed youth gain practical workplace experience, develop valuable skills and work towards a nationally recognised NQF Level 4 Insurance qualification.

There are 13 positions available for the learnership, which is based in Parktown, Gauteng.

What Does The Hollard Learnership Offer?

  • Be between 18 and 28 years old.
  • Be currently unemployed.
  • Have completed Matric or Grade 12.
  • Not currently be studying.
  • Not be registered for another learnership programme.
  • Be willing and able to learn.
  • Communicate fluently in English.
  • Have good listening skills.
  • Demonstrate integrity.
  • Be able to work under stress.
  • Have the ability to remain focused and avoid distractions.

Computer literacy will be an advantage.

Hollard Learnership Academic Requirements

Applicants must have completed Grade 12 and meet the required subject marks.

The application criteria include:

  • English: 60% or higher, as well as one other language.
  • Mathematics: 50%.
  • Mathematical Literacy: 60% or higher.
