The Housing Development Agency (HDA) is inviting unemployed graduates to apply for its Facilities Internship Programme in Gauteng. This internship offers young graduates the opportunity to gain valuable workplace experience in facilities management, occupational health and safety, property management, and infrastructure maintenance.

Candidates who are passionate about property management, building maintenance, and asset coordination are encouraged to apply for this internship opportunity.

HDA Facilities Internship Programme

The Facilities Internship Programme is designed to provide practical exposure within the Housing Development Agency environment. Successful interns will assist with the coordination and maintenance of HDA infrastructure, buildings, and assets.

The internship offers a monthly stipend of R8 000.

Facilities Internship Duties

Interns will be responsible for:

  • Assisting with coordinating maintenance of HDA infrastructure and buildings
  • Supporting the management of organisational assets
  • Helping facilitate building and facilities maintenance processes
  • Providing administrative and operational support within the facilities unit

Minimum Requirements

To qualify for the HDA Facilities Internship, applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Have a Degree in Facilities Management, Occupational Health and Safety, Property Management, or a related qualification
  • Reside in Johannesburg
  • Have no previous internship or work experience

Applicants must submit the following documents:

  • A detailed CV in PDF format
  • Certified copies of qualifications
  • Certified copy of South African ID
  • Two contactable references
