Young South Africans interested in building a career in customer service, sales and contact centres can apply for the Boomerang BPO Contact Centre Learnership.
The learnership offers participants the opportunity to gain practical workplace experience while working towards a nationally recognised qualification. Successful candidates will also receive structured training, mentorship and coaching.
The programme is designed to help participants develop valuable customer service, sales, digital and professional skills while gaining exposure to the business process outsourcing (BPO) industry.
Boomerang BPO Learnership Requirements
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Be between 18 and 35 years old.
- Be a South African citizen.
- Have successfully completed Grade 12 with an Umalusi-recognised qualification.
- Live in the Western Cape.
- Have been unemployed for at least one month before the final interview.
- Not currently be studying or enrolled in another learnership.
- Have at least two years' experience in BPO, contact centres, retail or hospitality.
- Have not previously participated in a DEDAT learnership programme.
