How To Apply To Study At Waterberg TVET College

Have you always wanted to pursue your tertiary studies at Waterberg TVET College? Well to start with, you will likely be based in Limpopo, as this is the province where you find its five campuses.

Waterberg TVET College strives to provide quality education and training to all its students. They offer a wide variety of courses ranging from National Certificate Vocational, Nated (Business) Courses to Nated (Engineering) and Part-Time Courses

Student support services such as counselling, academic support, leadership development and financial support are also made available. The application process is also straightforward, provided you follow the steps listed below before getting started.

  • Visit the Waterberg TVET College's official website
  • Go to the "courses offered" section and choose one or two courses you would like to study
  • Provide your latest academic results
  • Provide your ID Copy / Study permit and passport copy if you are not a South African Citizen
  • Gather documents such as a copy of your proof of residence, your next of kin’s ID Copy

If you are disabled, provide a medical certificate proving your disability. All your documents must be certified (Certified documents should not be older than 3 months)

Scan the documents as individual pdf files in black and white or visit your nearest Waterberg TVET College site to scan them for you. This applies to your supporting documents, Identity document and your report or academic results.

Once all of this is in place you can then click on the ‘Apply Now’ tab to get started with submitting your application. 

Alternatively, you can choose to send an application without supporting documents but you should upload the supporting documents on or before the closing date of applications to avoid being automatically disqualified.

You should also keep in mind that, as an applicant, you will be required to write a placement test, administered by the college, for your application to be valid.
