South Africa has 50 TVET colleges spread across the country that help students gain skills that they will need to find employment in South Africa.

These institutions offer practical vocational training programmes and technical skills development courses to equip students with the knowledge and skills needed to work in a range of fields.

Ehlanzeni TVET College has seven campuses, each offering various courses. They offer a wide variety of technical and vocational training programmes within its qualification mix.

These are the seven campuses:

  • Mapulaneng Campus
  • Mthimba Campus
  • Mlumati Campus
  • Barberton Campus
  • KaNyamazane Campus 
  • Mashishing Campus

The programmes offered at Ehlanzeni TVET college are designed to enhance employment of any nature, be it formal employment or self-employment as they all integrate theory and practice.

The institution strives to equip students with vocational and occupational directed skills to reduce unemployment, poverty and to contribute to the economic growth of South Africa.

How To Apply

Step 1: Visit the Ehlanzeni TVET College website

Step 2: Click on the ‘Apply online’ tab at the right top

Step 3: Click on the graduate icon under ‘Prospective Students’

Step 4: Follow the prompts and fill in your information and apply

Step 5: Submit the required documents

Documents Needed

  • Certified copy of ID
  • Certified copies of their parents’/guardians’ IDs
  • Certified copies of their latest results
  • Proof of address with contact details of next of kin or responsible persons
  • Proof of parents’ or guardians’ income (e.g., salary advice, letter of employment, or pension advice).

Students who require financial assistance are encouraged to apply for NSFAS funding. The college assists students when applying for NSFAS funding.

Should candidates encounter any difficulties with their application, they are advised to visit their nearest campus for assistance with the application.
