Port Elizabeth TVET College's mission is to empower their students with quality, market related skills, in order to contribute to the socio economic development of the country. They offer a wide variety of courses to their learners as well as online courses at certain campuses. Along with being concerned about the academic progress of their students, they are also concerned about their mental well-being.

Counselling is made available to all students at all campuses. Student residence is available to deserving students who comply with the admission requirements. 

Port Elizabeth TVET College provides bursary support to their learners. All learners are encouraged to make use of this bursary support as it provides financial relief to low income households.
