Here are the steps you need to take to update your cellphone number and email address on the myNSFAS portal.

How To Change Your NSFAS Contact Details On myNSFAS Portal

  1. Go to the NSFAS website
  2. Click on the 'myNSFAS' button
  3. Log into your myNSFAS account using your ID number and password
  4. Click on the 'Profile information' button
  5. Update your email address 
  6. Click on 'Verify'
  7. Click on the 'OK' button requesting a face scan
  8. Verify your identity by doing the face scan
  9. Update your cellphone number
  10. Click on 'Verify'
  11. Click on the 'OK' button requesting a face scan
  12. Verify your identity by doing the face scan
  13. Once the 'verify' button turns green, click on 'Update Contact'
  14. You have now updated your email address and cellphone number for your NSFAS account

If you experience difficulties updating your details, you can:

  1. Clear Your Browser Cache: Sometimes, browser issues can prevent updates from being saved.
