Academic Performance Incentives: These are for new first-year students and is based on their performance in matric. Students can receive R3500 off fees to fullt tuition fee payments depending on how they performed in their NSC. For more information, click here.
Second Child Discounts: A discount of 10% is awarded on tuition fees only for every additional child registered at the University.
National Department of Social Development: This category only covers student who wishes to pursue a Bachelor Degrees in Social Work. In order for you to qualify for this bursary you need to apply at your nearest Provincial Department of Social Development.
DHET Bursary Scheme: This is a financial aid programme that provides fully-subsidised funding for poor and working class students at public universities. Applicants must have a combined gross family income of up to R350,000 per annum.
Department of Labour Bursaries: Students with disabilities qualify for (apart from any other bursaries) for bursaries from the Department of Labour and are required to apply directly at the Department for these bursaries.

NSFAS: NSFAS offers fully subsidized free higher education and training for poor and working class South Africans where there is up to R350,000 household income per year.
