Vodacom Early Careers Programme 2027 – Graduate and Internship Opportunities Now Open
Vodacom is inviting ambitious and motivated graduates to apply for its Early Careers Programme 2027, offering exciting entry points into one of Africa’s leading digital and telecommunications companies.
The programme includes two career paths:
- A permanent graduate development programme with full-time employment
- A 12-month internship programme for recent graduates seeking workplace experience

1. Vodacom Early Careers Graduate Programme
This is a permanent employment opportunity designed to develop future leaders over a two-year period, starting on 1 February 2027.
Graduates will benefit from:
- Full-time employment with competitive salary and benefits
- Structured training, mentorship, and coaching
- On-the-job learning in various business areas
- The opportunity to transition into a permanent role after two years
- Potential to take on stretch assignments locally or internationally
Graduate Programme Requirements:
- Must have completed an undergraduate degree (or equivalent) by the end of 2026
- A minimum of a B-degree (BCom, BSc, BTech) at NQF level 7
- Alternatively, a 3-year National Diploma (NQF 6) in:
- Electrical or Electronic Engineering
- Computer Software Engineering
- Information Systems / IT
- Minimum 65% average for final or most recent academic results
- 26 years or younger
- Less than 2 years post-study work experience
- South African citizen, or permanent resident
- Applicants from DRC, Kenya, Lesotho, Mozambique, Ethiopia, Egypt, or Tanzania may apply for opportunities in their home markets
2. Vodacom Internship Programme 2027
This is a 12-month fixed-term contract designed to provide workplace experience and industry exposure, beginning on 1 February or 1 March 2027.
Interns will:
- Receive a monthly income
- Gain exposure to Vodacom’s core business operations
- Participate in structured learning and networking opportunities
- Be considered for the Vodacom Discover Graduate Programme or permanent employment, depending on performance
Internship Programme Requirements:
- Completed undergraduate degree by the end of 2025
- A minimum of a B-degree (BCom, BSc, BTech) at NQF level 7
- Alternatively, a 3-year National Diploma (NQF 6) in:
- Electrical or Electronic Engineering
- Computer Software Engineering
- Information Systems / IT
- South African citizen by birth
- 26 years or younger
- 0–1 year work experience post-studies
- Achieved a minimum 65% average for latest academic results
